Glen Cove Education FoundationThe Glen Cove Education Foundation was formed in 2001 to provide schools and teachers funding for special projects and supplies which exist outside of our typical school budget. The inaugural fund raiser of the Education Foundation was a golf outing and cocktail party at the Glen Cove Golf Club on July 20, 2001. The proceeds from the Golf outing were used to renovate the playground at the Deasy school With
proceeds from a gala "Murder at the Metropolitan" Mystery
Night, the Educational Foundation has awarded grants to elementary
school teachers who responded to the foundation's request for projects
to enhance their students' educational experience. Applications were
