The Community Scholarship Fund of Glen Cove has been awarding college scholarships to Glen Cove High School graduates since 1957. These scholarships are provided by donations from individuals, corporations, and organizations, from the annual PTA scholarship dinner dance, and from the interest from endowment funds.
Scholarships are awarded at graduation by the Fund's board of directors after considering the scholastic achievement, financial need, extra-curricular participation, and community service of each graduating senior who has been recommended by his or her principal, teachers, coaches, counselors, or other school mentors.
