Sophie Zimmerman is organizing a fund raising brunch at Steamboat Landing. It will take place Sat., April 12 at 9:00 AM.

Leslie Whitely will organize an upcoming Realtor's Breakfast. Real Estate agents will be invited to visit one of the schools and receive information about the district and a tour of the facilities.

Fern Lindenbaum has compiled a list of 100 local community organizations and their presidents. These community leaders will be invited to visit the schools, speak with administrators and tour the facilities. Maria Reyes, a teacher at the high school, has offered to help organize this event. She will try to arrange photos and publicity for the local papers.

Ted Holmes is now our Membership Chairperson. A mailing just went out and contributions are already being received.

A committee of parents and interested community members will meet on Saturday, March 22 at 10 AM at 25 Highfield Rd. to discuss enrichment and academic excellence in the Glen Cove Schools. Contact Helen Kotzky if you are interested in attending or would like to give your input.
