On Tuesday, April 19th, 2005 The Coalition sponsored a breakfast for local realtors at Glen Cove High School. Approximately 15-20 realtors attended and all found it very helpful. Speakers were Leslie Whitely, local realtor and coordinator, Janet Bates-Wilkins and Carol Sucharski, President and Vice-President of The Glen Cove School Board, Dr. Jerry Cicchelli, Interim Supt. of Glen Cove Schools and Joseph Hinton, Principal of the Glen Cove High School. The realtors were also treated to Glen Cove High School students, many of them who had transferred from private schools, speaking about their experiences and views of the High School. After a question and answer period the Realtors were shown the High School's state of the art TV studio and proceeded to the Auditorium to hear the award winning Select Chorale sing. All the realtors left with a very positive impression of the High School and many offered to help in promoting the schools to the community and prospective buyers in the city.
